Today is January 2, 2019. Καλή χρονιά, χρόνια πολλά (which translates roughly as Happy New Year, and many happy years)! This is the official blog of Hollins University’s 2019 J-term abroad course Greece: Cultural Crossroads Ancient to Modern. In just five days our group, 20 intrepid students led by two wise and energetic professors, will depart for Greece. We will spend three weeks there, studying a variety of topics on site, learning though living in Greece. This blog is the place where family, friends and interested others can follow what we are doing. On January 8, we will begin learning through living in Greece, and student authors will post multi-media updates on a daily basis. We hope you enjoy our adventures!
